Tomorrow night, Mandi and I embark on our fourth mission trip together with the teens. We're headed to Pahokee, Florida. Because I am no longer the high school youth minister, I haven't really been mentally preparing for this trip like I would have in the past. Even though Mandi's job was always the Mission Trip, as one of the youth ministers, I was still involved, if nothing else, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally preparing for the trip. This year it totally snuck up on me. I kind of forgot about it until about a week ago. eeek!
I just started packing:
Please keep the 45 teens, 9 adults, and our bus driver in your prayers this week as we travel and serve the poor in Florida!
